Infinity Tyres has been asked by the Brityrex International 2012 exhibition organisers ECI, and the show’s sponsors, the NTDA, to join members of the Steering Group for Brityrex International 2012, the UK’s premier tyre trade and aftermarket equipment show. The Steering Group’s objective is to provide initiatives and guidance in order to optimise attendance at Brityrex both for exhibitors and visitors.

Their first meeting took place in central London, and was chaired by Mr. Peter Gaster of Kings Road Tyres, to great success. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Clive Mansfield, Sales Manager for Europe of Infinity Tyres Europe Ltd.

Infinity Tyres will do all they can to assist the Brityrex Steering Group in making  Brityrex International 2012 a success and Mr. Mansfield stated that “Infinity is honoured to have been asked to participate and we hope that with the help of the Steering Group this year’s exhibition will certainly be the biggest one ever”.

For his part, Mr. Jorge Crespo, Infinity’s European Manager, said that “Infinity is truly committed to the UK. Our presence at the show, and our support of the Steering Group are only some of the many ways in which Infinity is participating in the British tyre sector”.

Infinity Tyres made an early commitment to exhibiting at the show – being the first tyre brand to do so – and it intends to make use of its presence there to reinforce its position as one of the leading premium economy tyres in the UK market by exhibiting there.

At said meeting, it was revealed that, although there was still over half a year to go before the exhibition opened its doors in October, over 60% of the exhibition space had already been booked by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Infinity Tyres.

ECI International, the company responsible for the show, stated that the show was progressing along nicely and preparations were significantly ahead of schedule, especially when compared to the same stage ahead of the last exhibition in 2010.

The exhibition will take place at Event City in the Trafford Park area of Manchester, a venue which offers Brityrex International 2012’s greater growth potential (10,000 square meters of exhibition hall space in the current hall). Free parking, free wifi, close proximity to motorway and airport networks are only some of the benefits that the new venue has to offer.

One of the features which the Committee will be working on this year is the creation of topical workshops where possible subjects of discussion will include tyre-labelling advice, new tyre repair standards, and TPMS.
