Local heroes of the Great War celebrated by Norfolk Primary School

Aldborough children share Theatre Royal stage with John HurtHilda Zigomela, who was born in Rougham Hall, Norfolk in 1869, kept detailed notebooks of her life.  The only one missing is from 1914.  Her son died in the First World War.  Sidney Smith was a Norfolk-born regular soldier who wrote telling letters home from the front.  Their characters and letters form the basis of Aldborough Primary School’s contribution to To End All Wars, which also stars John Hurt and is being performed in the Norwich Theatre Royal on Friday August 1st 2014 at 7.30pm.  Aldborough is one of four schools
