Alelion receives several follow-up orders in strategic segments

The order within the AGV segment was placed by Jernbro Industrial Services and relates to lithium-ion batteries for the Jernbro Automation unit, a leading supplier of customer-specific automation solutions based on AGV concepts. The order within special vehicles is worth MSEK 1.5 and regards high-voltage battery systems for the German market. Delivery will commence during the first quarter of 2022.

Alelion’s battery system for industrial trucks facilitates the transition from the older lead-acid technology to modern lithium-ion technology. Reducing the carbon footprint by up to 30 percent, this also boosts customer productivity by means of shorter charging times, up to three times the lifespan and up to a 30 percent reduction of energy costs. Alelion Energy Systems has developed and supplied low-voltage battery systems in the materials handling segment since 2014. Today, Alelion's batteries power more than 5,000 material handling forklifts worldwide.

Alelion’s customized high-voltage battery systems for special vehicles enable the electrification of demanding applications such as the transportation of goods in logistics and production facilities. Demand is on the rise across a number of industries, driven by the ongoing transition to a transport system with a reduced climate footprint.
