Allgon’s 2025 Sustainability Report is now available
We are pleased to share that Allgon's 2025 Sustainability Report has been published and is now available to download.
This year's report marks an important milestone for the Group: the completion of our first Double Materiality Assessment, which has identified seven material sustainability topics and will serve as the foundation for our strategy, targets, and reporting going forward.
The report covers our environmental performance, social responsibility, and governance practices across the full value chain — from raw material sourcing to end-user safety. Key highlights from the year include:
• A 42% reduction in total greenhouse gas emissions (market-based), driven primarily by lower purchasing volumes and changes in material mix, supported by logistics optimisation such as a shift from air to sea freight
• Strong improvements in workplace health and safety, with recordable work-related injuries or ill-health falling from 4 to 1 and days lost reduced from 850 to 210
• Renewable electricity use at offices reaching 72%, exceeding our near-term 70% target
• Continued progress in responsible sourcing and supplier engagement, with Supplier Code of Conduct coverage expanded to 80% of spend
Although Allgon is not yet formally required to report under the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), we have chosen to align this report with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) on a voluntary basis. This reflects our commitment to transparency, sound governance, and long-term readiness as sustainability expectations continue to evolve.
