Allgon Welcomes Maria Lexe as its New Chief Technology & Product Officer
Demand for safe, connected, and digitally integrated industrial solutions is growing fast. Allgon's ambition is to lead that shift, to be at the forefront of the Remote Tech market and to hold the number one position in its segment globally. Thus, Allgon as a strategic step towards that objective has appointed Maria Lexe as Chief Technology & Product Officer is a strategic step towards that.
A new combined leadership role
Allgon has brought together the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer responsibilities into a single, combined Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) role. The decision reflects Allgon’s belief that unified leadership across Technology and Product will bring added strength and clarity in delivering the company’s product roadmap — with sharp end-to-end accountability from customer insight through to execution and delivery.
Maria Lexe appointed as Chief Technology & Product Officer
Maria brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across digital transformation, technology strategy, software delivery, and customer-centric product development. She joins Allgon most recently from Polestar, where she served as Chief Digital Officer with global responsibility for digital strategy, IT, software, data, and digital product creation. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles across the automotive and retail industries, leading large-scale digital and technology transformation programs. Maria will be based in Gothenburg and joins Allgon on 8 June 2026.
