Allgon's subsidiary Åkerströms has received a first order from Husqvarna Construction Products for radio control of a brand new line of compacting machines to an order value of SEK 1.5 million. The order is deemed to create good conditions for additional sales of additional systems. Allgon estimates a total order value in 2020 of at least SEK 7 million.

Åkerströms has together with Construction Tools EEOD, member of the Husqvarna Group in Bulgaria, during a longer development process created a customized solution based on Åkerström's radio control system Remotus. Using the radio control, the operator can accurately control packing machines from a safe distance without vibration in the operator's hands and arms.

  • Husqvarna announces that they see a great interest in their new machine in the market, and we are pleased with their continued recognition and confidence in us as a priority supplier of quality-assured, robust and reliable radio control to their machines, says Anna Stiwne, CEO Åkerströms Björbo AB.

Husqvarnas Construction Products is a world-leading supplier in the construction sector with a wide range of machinery and tools for construction work and supplies their solutions to a global market.

  • Ergonomics, high quality and reliability have been important aspects of reputable Husqvarna, which places high demands on its suppliers. After a long development period, it is nice to finally reach our goal as a supplier. We are very proud to be able to offer our products and our knowledge to them, concludes Anna Stiwne.
