Alligo has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in the Swedish company Corema Svets & Industriprodukter AB. Corema is a full-service supplier of welding and industrial products and fasteners with operations in Gothenburg and Sundsvall.

The company, together with its subsidiaries Corema Fasterners AB and Corema Sundsvall AB, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 155 million with good profitability and has 25 employees.

-          Alligo currently holds a leading position in the welding sector in Sweden and we already have a good collaboration where we act as their service workshop. By being part of a group with other well-established welding specialists, Corema can continue to be a specialist company in welding and fastening. At the same time, we will be able to develop and strengthen our offer to industrial customers, says Andreas Fhager, CEO of Corema.

Since June 2023, Alligo has acquired six companies with specialised welding expertise, with a combined annual turnover of SEK 400 million, in addition to the existing welding operations within Tools and Swedol. Alligo's welding specialists offer products, services and expertise to welding customers and can meet their needs for welding machines, consumables, service, repair and training.

-          Strengthening our position in welding and fastening in the Nordic region is in focus for Alligo 2024. I am pleased that Corema, which is one of Sweden's largest welding specialists and also has a fastening business, will become part of the Alligo family. Corema has a strong customer base in the manufacturing industry where there are good opportunities to create synergies with the Group's broader offering, for example in workwear and personal protection equipment, says Clein Ullenvik, President and CEO of Alligo.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in November 2024.
