ALMA MEDIA'S INVESTOR PAGES WERE SELECTED AS THE BEST IN THE CLASS

Alma Media's investor pages were selected as the best in the class in the Best Investor Pages competition organised by the Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion and the Finnish Society of Financial Analysts. The results were announced at the Stock Exchange Gala organised by the Stock Exchange Foundation, which was celebrated at the Old Student House in Helsinki on Wednesday 31 January 2023. The gala culminated in the award ceremony.

The competition traditionally looks at the usability of sites, as well as how the company communicates to investors about certain areas such as strategy, growth and profitability, financial targets and historical performance, capital use and risk.

The company's award was received by Investor Relations Director Teemu Salmi.

"This is a very important recognition for us. The investor website is one of our most important communication channels for investors, both private and institutional investors. The purpose is to raise the bar at a steady pace and continuously develop the pages, but always make sure that we provide the information the investor needs in a concise, versatile and easy-to-use manner. We want to keep the structure of the site clear, but also bring in new elements insofar as they improve the user experience. The idea is to continuously review and improve our financial communications and performance reporting, but also to inspire and highlight how exciting the company Alma is. Hopefully, our advanced trading platforms strategy, internationality and ESG sustainability story will become familiar to an increasing number of people, both domestically and internationally," Salmi says.

"This competition prompts us all to develop in investor communication and relations as a whole and we take this as a recognition of the cooperation we are doing in this area between, for example, the finance, communications and legal department and management," Salmi continues.

The awards were given in four series The companies' websites are an important source of information especially for private investors. The Best Investor Pages competition has been held since 1999 because the aim is to draw attention to investor communications and best practices to highlight and reward the work of investor communication professionals by selecting annually. The competition evaluates the Finnish-language investor pages of all domestic listed companies in four different categories: large, medium and small companies, and First North companies. In addition to Alma, Huhtamäki
for large listed companies, Componenta for the small and Kempower for the First North companies were awarded.

The jury reminded how the information on the listed company's investor pages must be found easily, quickly and logically. Sites were carefully reviewed and scored according to the exact criteria that change on yearly basis.
