“I would like to express my gratitude to Virpi Juvonen on behalf of my own and the entire management team for their excellent cooperation on our joint journey. During Virpi's HR leadership, the company has both digitalised and internationalised rapidly. For her part, Virpi has taken care both: that the company has developed world-class expertise in its chosen focus areas, and also maintained its strong values while appreciating the role and contribution of each Almamedian as part of the whole, says Kai Telanne, CEO of Alma Media.

“I am excited to continue Virpi's distinguished work and develop human resources management competence at the heart. Our three business segments are in interesting stages of development, Alma has a can-do approach and attitude and a very knowledgeable, highly professional team. Almamedians' job satisfaction is also at the high level. I think Alma Media is a great example of a well-run company, mature in its digital transformation and in an advanced position in the developed marketplaces. I now take on an inspiring challenge and opportunity”, Merja Ristilä says.
