It’s time for me to now lend a helping hand in the next missing piece of the puzzle needed to further speed up the energy transition – sodium-ion batteries. These batteries are not only a safer, longer lasting, cheaper and greener alternative – but they can also can be made out of almost unlimited and readily available raw materials.

We’re delighted to name Sandviken as the home of our first industrial manufacturing facility. Ferrum is not only an important milestone in Altris’ history, but its very existence shows the confidence of our investors and customers in the future of sodium-ion batteries.

Our new industrial manufacturing unit will ensure that Fennac-based batteries become a reality within 2 years.
