Fotoquick AB acquires Finnish photo business

Fotoquick AB has signed a Letter of Intent in order to acquire the business and assets of Finnish Eiri Oy´s bankrupt estate. The acquisition is expected to be finalised during January 2006, after which Fotoquick will take over the company. The purchase price is not made public. This is Eiri Oy: • Turnover was approximately 10,9 million euros in 2005 • The company is based in Lahti and has 90 employees • The acquisition is expected to positively impact Fotoquick´s results during 2006 • Eirikuva is one of Finland’s strongest brands within the photo industry and will continue as a separate brand within the Fotoquick group. ”The photo industry is in an exciting phase right now and it is gratifying that we can announce another acquisition today.
