Tempe, AZ-- A decrease in traffic crashes is the most common outcome among 73 Florida communities with red-light safety cameras, according to a new survey by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The results attest to the effectiveness of red-light safety cameras as a viable police tool for the enforcement of traffic laws and reduction of dangerous crashes.
