ANDOVER TRAILERS BODY PROVES A PERFECT FIT FOR CORNISH ROADS

5 March 2015Redruth-based Highway Plant Hire has purchased a new short-length plant body which has been designed and manufactured by Andover Trailers to help the business deliver plant to sites with restricted access across Cornwall. At just 6.15m long, the LPPB18 plant body is mounted to an 18 tonne MAN TGM 4x2 rigid and can carry loads of up to 9.4 tonnes. Ian Powell, Director at Highway Plant Hire, says: “Many of the customers we need to reach are located in isolated areas; the new plant body helps us to achieve excellent vehicle manoeuvrability without sacrificing payload capacity.
