Washington in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. With this special deal, offered September 7 – 20, including weekends, adult rates at Joe Dodge Lodge are as low as $45 per night for stays of two or more nights. Joe Dodge Lodge and adjacent Pinkham Notch Visitor Center offer a unique starting point for White Mountain hiking, with doorstep access to miles of trails ranging from short, scenic walks to Square Ledge and Lost Pond to more challenging treks in the Presidential and Wildcat-Carter ranges, including day hikes to summit Mt. Washington.
Free guided walk-on programs are also offered daily throughout September. The schedule varies each week and includes a mix of backcountry skills clinics on topics such as map reading, easy nature walks to look for animal tracks and learn about the area’s natural history, longer hikes to picturesque locations in Pinkham Notch, informal table talks about local natural or cultural history, and evening programs with featured speakers.
Lodge accommodations include bunkrooms for two or four guests, private rooms, and family rooms with a double bed and bunk beds. All rooms have shared bath. Linens are provided.
