Arctic Gold AB (ARCT): Rich mineralization in Bidjovagge

Report this content

Arctic Gold has encountered a rich mineralization over 22.75 m with 2.59 g/t gold of which 8.8 m with 4.14 g/t in Bidjovagge.

The rich gold section was found in drill hole 11-0016, which was drilled for the purpose of following up on the rich copper and gold mineralization found by IGE Nordic when drilling in the area in 2008. The copper analyses have not yet been received but are expected shortly. Arctic Gold's drilling program has now been completed for the year with analyses from the samples taken being received and a new estimation of the mineral resource will be carried out during fall. This mineralization is situated 280 m north of the old mine area and shows that new mineralizations can be found. The mineralization is open in all directions and is currently being investigated with geophysical measurements in the drill holes and will also be further investigated with continued drilling next season.

- This is the best gold mineralization we have so far encountered this year in Bidjovagge and our hopes are high for the new estimation of the gold and copper resources later this fall, says Lars-Åke Claesson.

Arctic Gold's business concept is to engage in exploration activities to discover and demonstrate commercially extractable gold and base metal deposits in Scandinavia; The strategy is primarily to carry out exploration work and either sell the project within a few years or to establish mining activities under the company's own control or through a partnership with other companies. Arctic Gold focuses mainly on the Bidjovagge project in northern Norway and current gold and base metal permits in Västerbotten and Norrbotten.
