    Arise enters into a non-binding agreement with a fund managed by BlackRock regarding the sale of the Brotorp wind farm

    Arise AB, has entered into a non-binding agreement to sell the construction ready Brotorp wind farm in Sweden to a fund managed by BlackRock (“BlackRock”), the world’s largest asset manager. The agreement will comprise 46.2 MW, as well as construction and asset management of the same by Arise on behalf of BlackRock. Arise expects a development profit as well as reoccurring service revenue streams from the project in the years to come.     Arise AB (publ) publishes bond prospectus and applies for listing of issued bonds on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm

    On April 15, 2014, Arise AB (publ) published the issue of a five year senior secured green bond of SEK 1.1 billion. The bond is running with a floating rate of 3 months STIBOR + 3 percent p.a. and matures in April 2019. In order to apply for a listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, the company has presented a prospectus. The prospectus has been approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.     Option program II 2014/2017 for employees (group management)

    As Arise AB (“Arise”) previously has announced, the company has offered its employees (group management not included) a three-year option program with synthetic options. Arise has now decided to offer the group management to participate in a three-year option program with a maximum of in total 140,000 synthetic options. The option program for the group management is on substantially same terms and conditions as the option program for the other employees, but is subject to approval by the shareholders' meeting in May 2014.     New production record in December, 97.9 GWh

    Significantly better winds than normal in December resulted in an electricity output of around 97,900 MWh, which was about 48 per cent above budget. The outcome in the same month the previous year was around 40,800 MWh. Out of the total monthly production, approximately 51,400 MWh refers to company-owned wind power and 46,500 MWh to jointly owned wind power. Total production in the fourth quarter was about 235,000 MWh, which compensated for the weak output in the first quarter. Total annual production was around 599,000 MWh, which is slightly above budget. Of this, around 328,000 MWh

    Option program 2014/2017 for employees

    Arise AB offers its employees a three-year option program with a maximum of 138,000 synthetic options. Each employee is entitled to subscribe for a maximum of 6,000 synthetic options. The group management is not included in the program. Each option entitles the holder to, on 10 January 2017, receive a cash payment from Arise corresponding to the difference between the market value of a share in Arise at the time of exercise of the option and the prematurely determined value of SEK 25.     Hedging through leasing boosts earning

    Agreements have been signed for the lease of the Fröslida and Gettnabo wind farms (34.5 MW) over a period of one year. As announced previously, leases have already been concluded for the Södra Kärra, Blekhem and Skäppentorp wind farms (24.5 MW). This means that 59 MW out of a total operational output of 253 MW has been leased out to other operators.   The lease of 59 MW of wind power output is expected to have a positive annual impact on earnings of around SEK 16 million compared with selling generated electricity and electricity certificates at the forward prices applying at the time

    Stjärnarp wind farm commissioned

    The Stjärnarp wind farm in the municipality of Halmstad has now been taken in operation. The wind farm (3 Vestas wind turbines) is expected to be fully operational in October.     Record production in April

    Good winds in April resulted in an electricity production of around 51,200 MWh¹. Actual output in the same month the previous year was 23,900 MWh.     Arise will start its first major wind power project in Norway – 130 MW

    Conditional agreement for acquisition of project in Norway.Arise Windpower AB (publ) (“Arise”) has concluded a conditional agreement with Havgul clean energy AS (“Havgul”) for the acquisition of a project in Aremark municipality, Norway that is currently in the permitting process.     The wind in August was weaker than normal.     Acquisition of Solberg project, 75 to 120 MW, to be completed

    As announced previously, Arise Windpower AB (publ) (“Arise”) has concluded a conditional agreement with Ownpower Projects AB (“OPP”) for the acquisition of a fully permitted project in Solberg to the west of Örnsköldsvik, comprising some 40 wind turbines. As the conditions of the agreement have been met, Arise is now completing the acquisition. In an initial stage Arise intends to build 23 turbines with a total capacity of 85 MW.     In July, 19.9 GWh of power were produced from the company´s wind farms, an increase of 43 per cent compared to the same month the year before (13.9 GWh).
