New production record in December, 97.9 GWh

Significantly better winds than normal in December resulted in an electricity output of around 97,900 MWh, which was about 48 per cent above budget. The outcome in the same month the previous year was around 40,800 MWh.

Out of the total monthly production, approximately 51,400 MWh refers to company-owned wind power and 46,500 MWh to jointly owned wind power.

Total production in the fourth quarter was about 235,000 MWh, which compensated for the weak output in the first quarter. Total annual production was around 599,000 MWh, which is slightly above budget. Of this, around 328,000 MWh refers to company-owned wind power and around 271,000 MWh to jointly owned wind power (Jädråas Wind Farm).

Total output in 2012 was around 352,000 MWh, of which 326,500 MWh was company-owned and 25,500 MWh joint-owned.

Assuming a normal wind year, Arise Windpower's currently operational facilities, comprising company-owned and joint-owned wind farms as well as the Bohult farm, which is currently under construction, are expected to generate just over 700,000 MWh of electricity.
