Aspiro's former Head of Mobile Solutions, Peter Tonstad, will from today take over as CFO of Aspiro, while former CFO Erlend Prestgard will take the important position as new Chief Commercial Officer of Music. Aspiro announced earlier today that it sells the business area Mobile Solutions, thus freeing resources for music service WiMP as well as TV- and video streaming.

Both Peter Tonstad and Erlend Prestgard continues as before to be part of Aspiro's management team.

"Aspiro now appears as a new company - and a strong contender in the very fast growing streaming industry. I'm glad that Erlend, who's showed great interest and knowledge in the field of music, accepted the challenge as commercial officer. Music shall deliver on an ambitious plan and launch WiMP in new countries. It is also pleasing that Peter stays in the company and takes the role as CFO. His long experience in finance, strategy, organization and management will be an asset", says Gunnar Sellæg, CEO of Aspiro.

Peter Tonstad joined Aspiro in April 2010 and has since been head of business area Mobile Solutions, which is now sold. Tonstad has over fifteen years experience in senior positions in IT and media, among others Edda Media/Mecom, NHST Media Group, Thomson Financial and Reuters. Peter Tonstad is 39 years old and has an economic and financial education from the Norway School of Management BI.

Erlend Prestgard took over as CFO of Aspiro in March 2010. He has background from the consulting firm McKinsey and UBS Investment Bank and has an MBA from the Norwegian School of Management BI. In his role as CCO for Music, he will be responsible for international growth and ensure that WiMP enters into new markets with new partners.

Aspiro's Music business is growing at a rapid pace and is seeking to increase sales by at least 150 percent in 2011 compared to 2010. At the same time Aspiro TV's goal is to reach at least 10 percent growth in 2011 compared to 2010. Aspiro is negotiating with new partners in both Music and TV and is planning further launches.
