Assemblin acquires staffing business, strengthening its electrical operations
Assemblin Norway has acquired the assets of staffing company MV Elektro AS (“MV Elektro”) in Oslo, with 20 employees. The acquisition strengthens Assemblin’s capacity in the area of electrical installations.
MV Elektro was established in 2011 and has provided staffing solutions for several contractors and a wide range of construction projects, mainly in the Oslo region.
Earlier this year, Assemblin also completed its acquisition of staffing company Ariemi AS, which primarily offers outsourced labour in the areas of heating and sanitation. With the acquisition of MV Elektro, Assemblin also strengthens its capacity in the area of electrical installations.
“Major clients, in both the private and public sectors, prefer that we predominantly assign permanent employees to our projects. This coincides with our own staffing strategy, which has also been strengthened by the authorities’ stricter regulations regarding temporary hires. Both of these acquisitions allow us to strengthen our competitiveness,” says Jon Kolstø, HR Manager at Assemblin Norway.
The company’s owner and President, Mikael Hedberg, will continue to head the operations following the acquisition.
