Assemblin’s wholly-owned subsidiary Fidelix has signed a binding agreement to divest the assets in a smaller business in North Karelia, Finland, with annual sales of slightly less than EUR 2 million and nine employees.

The Fidelix Group offers products and integration solutions for intelligent, energy-efficient buildings, such as BMS and systems for individual metering and debiting (IMD), which are two rapidly growing segments. Fidelix forms the largest part of Assemblin’s Business Area Finland, generates annual sales of about EUR 200 million and has more than 800 employees. Now, Fidelix is divesting a smaller part of the installation- and service business to Are.

“As requested by our shareholders, we have divested our business in Joensuu, North Karelia. We are pleased that this reputable business, with its skilled employees, now has a new home at Are,” comments Tero Kosunen, President of Fidelix AB and Business Area Manager of Assemblin Finland.

The transaction is expected to be concluded on 31 October.
