Assemblin establishes electrical operations in Trelleborg, Sweden, with the acquisition of EA Installationer AB
Assemblin expands its presence in the rapidly growing city of Trelleborg with the acquisition of electrical engineering company EA Installationer, adding to the existing heating and sanitation footprint. EA Installationer has annual sales of SEK 55 million and 42 employees.
EA Installationer was established by the brothers Ulf and Jonas Thelin in 1989 and is today the local leader within electrical engineering. The business has a solid customer base and includes own design and planning capabilities with smart solutions and efficient production, particularly within projects.
“Trelleborg is Sweden’s second largest port city, and the new ‘Kuststad 2025’ initiative will require several structural investments. We believe strongly in the area and are therefore very pleased to acquire one of the most well-known local electrical engineering companies”, says Fredrik Allthin, President and Business Area Manager of Assemblin El.
