Assemblin in Norway strengthens its organisation with acquisition of staffing company

As an adaptation to new requirements in the Norwegian market, Assemblin in Norway has acquired staffing company Ariemi AS, which has some 130 employees.

The staffing company Ariemi AS offers staffing and recruitment services for the construction and civil engineering segments, as well as to industry, with an emphasis on heating and sanitation installers. Since its inception, the company has achieved strong growth and delivered favourable earnings. Customers include some of Norway’s largest entrepreneurs in and around the Østlandet and Innlandet regionsAssemblin is the largest customer and already well-acquainted with most of the personnel. The head office is located in Tønsberg.

“Our major clients, in both the private and public sectors, want us to use our own, permanent employees as much as possible in our project assignments. To be able to meet this wish, the strategy of Assemblin in Norway is to increase its share of in-house personnel. This acquisition is part of that strategy, enabling us to secure expertise, obtain better opportunities to develop our services and strengthen our competitiveness,” says Torkil Skancke Hansen, CEO and Business Area Manager at Assemblin Norway.

The agreement with Ariemi entails Assemblin taking on all of its employees, both administrative workers, as well as heating and sanitation installers.

“Many of these employees have worked for Assemblin previously. They know us well, and we know what they are capable of. The labour market has been under severe pressure for a long time, and now we have the opportunity to strengthen our workforce with a large group of experienced and skilled specialists, which is good both for us and for our customers,” says Torkil Skancke Hansen.
