Assemblin installs in new multi-technical healthcare and research project
Assemblin secures new healthcare sector installation assignment in Linköping. Assemblin will install electrical, heating, sanitation, ventilation and sprinkler systems in a new building under construction in the Garnisonen district. The order is valued at about SEK 70 million in total.
Region Östergötland will conduct outpatient care and research in the new six-floor building. The goal is for “Building C” to meet the requirements for BREEAM’s environmental certification Excellent.
Assemblin’s client is the construction company Åhlin & Ekeroth AB, which is constructing the new building in a joint venture with Intea Garnisonen AB. The property will be owned by Intea, with Region Östergötland as the tenant. Building C will have six floors, including a basement, and the architecture will be designed to fit in with the existing surrounding buildings. The new building will be connected to the neighbouring Buildings A and B, together with them comprising the Skvadronen block. In the new premises, Region Östergötland will open an eye clinic and a speech therapy clinic and will also conduct research activities in collaboration with Linköping University.
Assemblin’s assignment will extend until the spring of 2025.
