Assemblin Norway strengthens its position northwest of Oslo
Assemblin Norway is strengthening its position in the Eastern Norway region (in Viken County) through its acquisition of the heating and sanitation company Hemsedal VVS AS. The firm has 12 employees and annual sales of approximately NOK 35 million.
Founded in 2000, Hemsedal VVS AS is a well-established installation company providing water, heating and energy infrastructure to its customers. Hemsedal VVS takes on both contract projects and service assignments, having carved out a specialist niche in the holiday home sector. Its customers include a number of construction firms and cabin providers.
“Assemblin has a strong foothold in the Oslo market, as well as to the south of the city, but since 2019 we have been focusing on boosting our presence to the north of the capital. The acquisition of Hemsedal VVS is therefore a great complement to our strategy for growth. It is a well-run, profitable company with a culture that very much mirrors our own. Their market conditions differ from the Oslo market, which can be more sensitive to economic downturns. This will offer us increased stability.
