Assemblin wins an order for a new detention center in Halmstad
Assemblin provides electrical installations in the new detention center for an order value of approximately SEK 59 million.
A new detention center is being built in Halmstad, which will have room for 80 inmates. The detention center is being built in connection with the existing institution in Halmstad and the project is being carried out in collaboration with the client Specialfastigheter. Assemblin has been working for about 1.5 years with planning and design as well as preparatory work on behalf of Serneke Sverige AB.
"We are very pleased to receive continued trust to provide the electrical installations for the new detention center. We have previously provided preparatory work, adjustment of perimeter protection, as well as the cast-in-place basement of the detention center. We are especially proud as we won the assignment, among other things, based on the assessment of our organization and competence, which were important parameters for our client," says Fredrik Allthin, EVP and CEO of Assemblin Electrical.

The new detention center is expected to be ready in the second quarter of 2026.
