On April 1, Triton completed all legal and administrative proceedings needed to create Assemblin Caverion Group and, subsequently, successfully closed the combination between the previous portfolio companies Assemblin and Caverion.

The Parent Company of the new, combined group is Assemblin Group AB (under name change to Assemblin Caverion Group AB), Corp. ID No. 559427-2006, domiciled in Stockholm, Sweden. In connection with the regular Annual General Meeting of Assemblin Group AB on March 27, 2024, Susanne Ekblom and Per Ingemar Persson’s term as Board members ended and Mikael Aro (Operating Partner at Triton and Chairman of the Board in Caverion) and Jacob Götzsche (former President and CEO at Caverion Corporation) were elected as new members. Mats Jönsson (former Chairman of the Board in Assemblin Group AB), Hans-Petter Hjellestad (Investment Professional at Triton) and Peder Prahl (CEO and Managing Partner at Triton) were re-elected as Board Members.

Jacob Götzsche was appointed Executive Chairman of the Board in Assemblin Caverion Group.

“I would like to thank Susanne Ekblom and Per-Ingemar Persson for their great commitment and contribution to Assemblin's Board of Directors. At the same time, I am pleased that, going forward, we have a dedicated Board of Directors under the leadership of Jacob Götzsche. Jacob will act as the Executive Chairman of the Board, and has the experience and characteristics needed to support the continued development of the combined Group. Assemblin Caverion Group is positioned to leverage market trends, particularly addressing the aging building infrastructure across Europe and responding to increasing customer demand for energy efficiency, sustainability, and automation within buildings, infrastructure and industry”, Hans Petter Hjellestad, Investment Professional at Triton, commented.

Assemblin Caverion Group combines the strengths and capabilities of both entities into a new group, offering a broader range of services and providing sustainable technical solutions to an expanded customer base. The group operates across ten countries, generates an annual turnover of approximately EUR 3.8 billion/SEK 43.5 billion, and employs around 21,900 skilled employees.
