Atea acquires Sherpa Consulting AS

Atea AS (“Atea Norway”) has entered into an agreement to acquire Sherpa Consulting AS (“Sherpa”), one of the largest independent providers of business intelligence and data analytics in Norway. Sherpa is located in Oslo, with a team of 47 highly skilled employees.

“Through the acquisition of Sherpa, we are expanding our team to better serve our customers’ growing needs for consulting and support in business intelligence and data analytics. After the acquisition, we will have approximately 100 consultants in Norway specialized in these areas. These consultants are actively engaged with customers on many cutting edge projects," says Michael Jacobs, Managing Director Atea AS.

Sherpa is expected to generate revenue of NOK 78 million and EBIT of NOK 11.5 million in 2018. Atea will acquire all shares in the company for an enterprise value of NOK 60 million.
