KMD’s hardware- and software business portfolio has three-digit million in sales and is well aligned with Atea’s operations in Denmark, including products from Atea’s strategic partners. Closing of the agreement is subject to customary conditions for completion, including the transfer of major customer contracts and approval from the competition authorities. The parties have agreed that other transaction terms shall remain confidential.

“We are excited to acquire KMD’s hardware- and software business and to welcome its customers and employees to Atea,” commented Atea CEO Steinar Sønsteby. “The KMD business is a very good strategic fit for Atea, and our company can provide an excellent platform for its future development and growth. Customers will benefit from the full breadth of products and services which Atea offer and employees will benefit from being part of a larger organization, with many opportunities for career growth.”
