Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbs Service A/S (SKI), the largest public procurement organization in Denmark, has awarded Atea Denmark a new frame agreement to supply servers, storage and related services, to Danish central, regional and local governments.

The frame agreement has an estimated value of more than DKK 700 million over 2 years, with the opportunity to extend for an additional two years. Atea is one of four vendors who have been selected for the new frame agreement. The frame agreement replaces several other agreements that are due to expire, but has also been expanded to cover additional regions. Atea has been a supplier on the preceding frame agreements.

“We look forward to providing IT solutions of the highest quality to our customers who have awarded us this frame agreement;” commented Steinar Sønsteby, CEO of Atea ASA. “Our goal is to support the public sector in continuously improving the quality and efficiency of the services it provides.”

The frame agreement is effective from April 1, 2019. The decision to award the tender to Atea can be appealed until February 11, in accordance with the current public procurement regulations.
