Atea Denmark wins tender for the Danish state and 80 municipalities

Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice A/S (SKI), the largest public procurement organization in Denmark, has selected Atea as supplier on a large tender for printers and copying machines to the Danish state and 80 municipalities called 'udbud 50.10 Kopi og print'.

Atea has been chosen as the sole supplier on one part of the tender; small printers and multifunction printers, whilst Atea has been chosen as one of three suppliers for the other part of the tender; large printers and multifunction printers.

The agreement is new for Atea. The tender has an estimated value of DKK 800 million over four years. In addition to the 80 municipalities and the state that are obliged to buy printers via 50.10, other public sector customers can use the agreement on a voluntary basis.

The Danish state can start to place orders according to the tender from September 1st, 2019. The decision to award the tender to Atea can be appealed until July 4th, in accordance with the current public procurement regulations.
