Financial Times and Statista have announced their list of Europe's most inclusive employers in their 5th annual Europe's Diversity Leaders ranking. The overall list of the 850 most inclusive companies was concluded from an impressive survey of more than 100 000 employees across Europe, assessing their inclusivity policies and practices. Atea ranks number 50 among IT companies.

In a survey across 16 European countries, employees and human resources experts were asked to assess employers in different diversity dimensions such as age, gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and other. The 850 companies with the highest scores made the final list of Diversity Leaders 2024 and among those also Atea who is one of only 5 Nordic IT, Internet, Software and Services companies represented in this prestigious list.

Atea stands out as a leader in fostering inclusivity, especially notable in the challenging landscape of diversity within the IT sector, where Atea was ranked number 50 overall. This recognition, amidst the broader context of the IT, Internet, Software, and Services industries, highlights the ongoing efforts required to address and overcome the persistent diversity challenges these sectors face.

"Our mission is to be The Place to Be for our employees, customers and partners. Therefore, diversity and inclusion has always been important to us, and we've been highly focused to make sure that people here feel valued, and their individuality is respected. Considering how much weight is put on workforce opinions when determining finalists, we feel very proud to be featured on this list. It means our work has been noticed by our main audience and it means a lot," says Lisa Eklöf, Atea Group Chief Human Resources Officer.

This is the first time Atea has been ranked among Europe's Diversity Leaders list, celebrating the company's gender balance, inclusivity of different sexual orientations, and representation of a wide national and cultural backgrounds among Atea employees.
