The Norwegian Police has awarded Atea a new frame agreement which covers client devices (PCs, tablets and mobile phones), and related services and accessories. The agreement has an estimated value of approximately NOK 600 million over a four-year term, with the option for the Police to extend the agreement for another two years.

Atea will be the sole supplier on the new contract. The new frame agreement will replace an existing frame agreement in which Atea has been the sole supplier.

"We are honored that the Norwegian Police has awarded Atea a major new frame agreement. The agreement reinforces Atea’s position as the leading provider of digital solutions to the Norwegian market. Atea aims to provide the Norwegian police with a better, cheaper and more effective IT platform to support its productivity and digitalization initiatives," commented Steinar Sønsteby, CEO of Atea ASA.
