Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbs Service A/S (SKI), the largest public procurement organization in Denmark, has selected Atea as a vendor on a new frame agreement to the public sector, SKI 02.02. The frame agreement consists of two parts: IT operations and IT colocation. Atea will be a vendor on both parts of the frame agreement.

The agreement has an estimated value of approximately DKK 720 million (NOK 910 million) over the next 4 years. The agreement covers products and managed services across the IT infrastructure, including clients, networks, datacenter solutions and IT security. The frame agreement is new for Atea, covering customer revenue which was not part of Atea’s previously won frame agreements. Atea is one of several suppliers on the new contract.

"Atea’s goal to support its customers in managing all areas of their IT infrastructure. We believe that this agreement will provide public sector customers in Denmark with access to better, cheaper and more effective IT environments, enabling them to focus on their core objectives rather than their internal IT operations," commented Steinar Sønsteby, CEO of Atea ASA.

The decision to award the frame agreement to Atea and other vendors can be appealed up for a period of ten days from this announcement, in accordance with the current public procurement regulations.
