Carl-Johan Hultenheim has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer in the Atea Group. Carl-Johan has been employed in Atea since 2006.

Since 2011, Carl-Johan has been Managing Director of Atea Sweden. Atea Sweden is the largest business unit in the Atea Group, with SEK 15 billion in revenue and 2500 employees. During Carl-Johan’s tenure, Atea Sweden has more than doubled its revenue and operating profit.

The Chief Operating Officer position will have a leading role in the development and execution of Atea’s business strategy. The Chief Operating Officer will have senior management responsibility for many of the shared functions across the Atea group, including the group’s managed service, supply chain, logistics, IT, and service desk operations. The Chief Operating Officer is a member of the senior management group of Atea, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer Steinar Sønsteby.

Linus Wallin will be promoted as the new Managing Director in Atea Sweden, following a 3-6 month transition period. Linus has been a sales executive at Atea since 2010, and has been Regional Director for the Stockholm region since 2018. Region Stockholm is the largest regional division in Atea Sweden, with SEK 6 billion in revenue.
