Norwegian Armed Forces awards Atea four large frame agreements
Atea has won four large frame agreements with the Norwegian Armed Forces (Forsvaret). The frame agreements cover a broad range of IT products, including digital workplace, networking and data center solutions. In addition, Atea Norway will provide consulting, installation and maintenance services to the Norwegian Armed Forces under the frame agreements.
The frame agreements each have a term of four years with the option to extend for an additional three years. Atea Norway is the sole supplier on the frame agreements, and has been the sole supplier on preceding frame agreements to the Norwegian Armed Forces within these product categories. The estimated value of the frame agreements is NOK 700 million in gross sales per year, up to a maximum amount of NOK 8.35 billion over 7 years. Deliveries are expected to start in May 2022.
“We are deeply honored to extend our relationship with the Norwegian Armed Forces,” commented Atea CEO Steinar Sønsteby. “Atea has a dedicated team which has served the Norwegian Armed Forces for many years, with support from the entire organization. It gives us great pride to be the trusted provider of IT solutions to an organization which plays such an important role in our society.”
