Atlas Copco completes U.S. compressor distribution acquisition
Stockholm, Sweden, May 3, 2013: Atlas Copco’s U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has finalized the acquisition of National Pump & Compressor’s air compressor business in the state of Illinois, USA.
Quincy will open a new company store that will serve as a base for the sale and servicing of Quincy’s products in the Illinois region. The business being purchased has distributed Quincy products for more than 60 years.
About 45 employees will join Quincy Compressor through this acquisition.
Atlas Copco announced on April 11, 2013, that Quincy had agreed to acquire the business.
