    Stockholm, Sweden, April 15, 2016: Atlas Copco’s U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has acquired Scales Industrial Technologies Inc., which distributes, services and rents out industrial air compressors and ancillary systems.Scales Industrial Technologies is based in Carle Place, New York, and operates in the Northeastern region of the U.S. The company has about 180 employees.     Stockholm, Sweden, April 15, 2014: Atlas Copco’s U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has agreed to acquire the compressor business of National Pump & Compressor Ltd. and McKenzie Compressed Air Inc. in the United States.National Pump & Compressor’s business is located in Texas and Alabama, while McKenzie Compressed Air is focused on Texas.     Stockholm, Sweden, May 3, 2013: Atlas Copco’s U.S.-based Quincy Compressor LLC has finalized the acquisition of National Pump & Compressor’s air compressor business in the state of Illinois, USA.Quincy will open a new company store that will serve as a base for the sale and servicing of Quincy’s products in the Illinois region. The business being purchased has distributed Quincy products for more than 60 years. About 45 employees will join Quincy Compressor through this acquisition. Atlas Copco announced on April 11, 2013, that Quincy had agreed to acquire the business.

The new facility will provide assembly and packaging for the Group’s entire range of gas and process turbocompressors and turboexpanders, as well as engineering and aftermarket services.The new factory - Atlas Copco’s first factory in Eastern Asia for this product range - is equipped with the most advanced technology available for turbocompressor production.
