Reversible sensor chips for real-time determination of protein– carbohydrate interactions on living cancer cells for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer
A new publication using Attana from the team of prof Zhichao Pei at the College of Chemistry & Pharmacy, Northwest A&F University, China. In this work, a novel dynamic reversible sensor surface to determine kinetics of protein-carbohydrate interactions suspension cancer cell surfaces using a Attana QCM technology has been developed.
The group has applied Attana CellTM 200 instrument and Attana standard sensor chips. However, they have modified the sensor surface chemistry in order to enable regeneration of the surface, that means practically that the cells can be exchange and more experiments can be performed. Consequently, this will even future increase the value of the Attana Cell 200 instrument in laboratories.
