Attendo publishes Annual Report for 2019
Today, Attendo AB has presented its Annual Report with sustainability reporting for 2019. The report gives a detailed overview of Attendo’s operations, financial performance and contribution to sustainable development.
“2019 was an expansionary year when Attendo opened many new beds, but also a challenging one with a significant fall in profits in our Finnish operations. Our focus is on restoring profitablity, strengthening customer satisfaction and further enhancing quality of care. Our operations is based on improving everyday life for tens of thousands of people while helping resolve major challenges to society”, says Martin Tivéus, Attendo CEO.
This year's annual report contains the statutory parts of Attendo's sustainability report for 2019, which thus becomes an integral part of the annual report. In these parts, we report how Attendo works to meet the statutory sustainability requirements and achieve sustainability goals within the company's three focus areas; contributions to society, quality of care and an engaging workplace for employees who want to make a difference.
“With an upcoming elderly boom, society is facing major challenges in the care area and I believe Attendo has an important role to play. Our absolute ambition is to be on the forefront of improving quality of care, establishing new operations and helping local authorities across the Nordic region get the job done in a better way”, says Martin Tivéus.
In addition, Attendo will publish a report showing some of the quality and sustainability work that Attendo's employees do in the daily operations. This report will be made available later in Swedish and Finnish.
