High customer satisfaction in home care and lifestyle nursing homes, and stable results in Attendo’s quality thermometer. Those are some of the highlights from Attendo’s quality work presented in the Annual Quality Report 2016.

It’s the sixth consecutive year that Attendo releases an Annual Quality Report documenting the most important results of the company’s quality improvement efforts. The report shows that Attendo’s Quality Thermometer has had a stable reading around 85% during last year, which is on par with 2015.

The report also shows that Attendo’s home care and life style nursing homes have higher satisfaction than municipalities and private providers in national customer surveys.

“Our quality work has a heritage of more than 30 years, which is clearly shown in the results we achieve in both internal and external evaluations. One example is that Attendo’s life style nursing homes get very high satisfaction remarks from our customers. It underlines that our ambition to help local authorities to shorten waiting times for nursing homes by building more modern homes than any other provider is very timely”, says Attendo’s CEO Henrik Borelius.

In the report, there are several initiatives where Attendo is leading the quality work in care for older people, individual care and healthcare. The report also discloses a number of examples of quality enhancing efforts during the year, which in many cases already have provided benefits to Attendo’s customers.

“During 2016 we managed to improve our conduct in many areas; improving safety for home care customers, reducing risks of wrongful medication in our Danish operations, and improving the results of diabetes care in Finland - just to mention a few examples. This wouldn’t have been possible without the systematic quality work carried out on a daily basis by Attendo’s competent and committed employees to improve the care services we deliver to our customers”, says Henrik Borelius.
