Augean Appoint New Head of Waste Network Division
Edward Pigg has joined Augean PLC to lead the development of the Waste Network division.
Augean offers a comprehensive waste management service ranging from the collection, storage, transfer, treatment, recovery and final disposal of waste streams with a broad range of hazards. The company has ambitious plans for growth in the sector and Edward has been recruited as part of the strategy of developing the service offer and partnership working with major companies requiring a complete solution for their hazardous waste management.
Edward has been appointed as Director – Waste Network, and has joined Augean from Biffa Waste Services where he ran the Integrated Waste Management Division. His experience in the sector combined with a broader commercial management experience will benefit the division as it drives forward with new technology and facilities across the UK.
Since 2004 Augean has developed focused customer support centres which provide competitive prices within hours of an enquiry being received and co-ordinate from these centres a whole host of complementary customer support services such as mobile chemists, waste sampling and assessment, and laboratory services.

Edward brings extensive leadership experience in B2B sales and commercial management. Prior to joining Biffa he was Head of Sales & Marketing for Lombard Vehicle Management and has worked for brands like The AA and MG Rover Group over the last 20 years.
