Augean Laboratory Services achieves UKAS accreditation
Augean PLC has announced that its central laboratory team based at the East Northants Resource Management Facility (ENRMF), has achieved UKAS accreditation.
This latest achievement means that Augean Laboratory Services is one of only two laboratories in the UK who are fully accredited for all aspects of hazardous landfill waste acceptance criteria (WAC) analysis, and demonstrates that the business is leading the way in safeguarding and secure hazardous waste management.
The work performed to achieve this accreditation has encapsulated Augean’s commitment to systems development, combined with an on-going effort to build the scope of accredited analytical suites throughout 2013 and beyond.

Augean are able to provide analytical capabilities which cover waste characterisation and composition, waste acceptance criteria (WAC) for wastes destined for landfill, and general analysis of wastes for acceptance by its waste networks division and its specialist treatment facilities which include High Temperature Incineration and Thermal Desorption.
