Avid to Showcase Performance and Sound Quality of the All-New Avid S3L at PLASA 2013
Free hands-on daily training sessions demonstrate how the Avid S3L delivers all the hallmarks of Avid live sound systems in a compact, all-new modular networked architecture
WHAT: PLASA 2013 marks the UK debut of the new Avid S3L live sound system. During the show, Avid will present free daily training sessions demonstrating how the Avid S3L modular system solves the challenges of live sound mixing and provides the performance, sound quality and features that countless live sound professionals have come to rely on. The hands-on sessions will deliver an in-depth walk-through of the Avid S3L’s innovative high-performance HDX-powered processing engine, new VENUE software features, flexible AAX DSP plug-ins, scalable remote I/O, compact EUCON-enabled control surface, and Pro Tools software integration for live sound mixing and recording. The system will also feature on the Avid stand (C.56).
WHO: The Avid stand (C.56) will also host renowned front-of-house engineer Nick Warren, whose touring credits include The Prodigy, Roxy Music/Brian Ferry and Cheryl Cole. Warren will present live demos on a VENUE Profile system and discuss how the system’s sound quality, reliability, ease of use and connectivity with Pro Tools means it is the only live sound desk he tours with.
