Mats Gustavsson has been appointed new CEO ofBasEl AB effective beginning of 2008. He replacesPeter Pernlöf who is retiring.Mats Gustavsson has previously held the position ofManaging Director in different Swedish industriesand also with international business. During this lastyear he has focused on energy related issues.

Magnus Hall, CEO of Holmen AB, has been appointed new Chairman of the Board of BasEl AB. Magnus Hall replaces Jan Johansson, soon to take office as CEO of SCA AB.
