Geothermal Investment Company Baseload Capital Launches its New Series ‘Coffee with Baseload’ to Deformalize the Conversation Around Clean Energy

As the geothermal industry continues to spotlight the ‘Geothermal Decade’ – a push to make the geothermal energy sector 13 times larger by 2030 – Baseload Capital has launched an interview series to make the conversation more approachable.

Coffee with Baseload is an attempt to deformalize the discussions around making the switch to clean energy and moving towards a planet in balance. Baseload Capital knows that geothermal is an every day topic for them, so the industry needs more than a global ‘summit’ or industry ‘roundtable’ to keep the conversation going.

“We are very excited to launch this series and really drive the conversation about geothermal energy,” says Kristina Hagström Ilievska, CMO of Baseload Capital. She added, “At Baseload we feel like the industry really just needs more continual exposure in order to really grow. So, rather than having one seminar or summit per year, with Coffee with Baseload we aim to keep the conversation going.”

The show curates questions and topics from industry professionals, and then picks a specific topic or question to discuss each episode. The episodes are quick and easily consumable and only tackle one or two questions within a ten to fifteen minute timeframe. All are welcome to submit questions and topics here: Coffee with Baseload Submission Form

The first episode of Coffee with Baseload is set to air on the company’s YouTube channel on February 25.

About Us

Baseload Capital is a specialized investment entity that funds the deployment of heat power worldwide. Our portfolio of companies in Iceland, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S. work with local communities and power companies to permit, build and commission heat power plants.

Heat power is an affordable form of renewable energy that can be harnessed from either geothermal resources or waste heat. By applying innovative financing structures to help our local operators build and run the heat power plants, Baseload Capital can help nations quickly transition away from fossil fuels and toward energy independence. The result will lead to more resilient societies and a planet in balance.
