Claire Austin in training to support Isabel Hospice in April 13 event

Claire Austin, MD of Austin's Funerals is to run in the 2014 London Marathon, one of the world's major sporting and fundraising events which last year became the world's largest marathon.

Claire, who has overseen huge growth for her company - the oldest independent, family owned funeral company in Hertfordshire - will be taking part to support a cause close to her heart, The Isabel Hospice in Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire.

Speaking about her involvement in this major charity event she said:

"This is a personal challenge and The Isabel Hospice is a wonderful charity which supports families and individuals throughout North and East Hertfordshire.

"Over the next few months I have a lot of work to do and I would be delighted if people could support me by making a donation through my Virgin Money Giving page."
