Lean Principles authority praised for leading-edge thinking

Lean Principles authority and renowned organizational change strategist Stephen Parry has won praise for recent keynote sessions at three major European conferences.

Underlining the importance of developing new approaches to Lean in the light of continuous and constant change, Parry pushed for the abandonment of the notion of 'continuous improvement' in favour of designing for adaptability in changing times.

Writing in CIO magazine, Shaun Mundy said of Parry's session at London's Modern Management Methods Conference:

"...for me (Parry's) was the strongest session of the day.

"Parry continues to demonstrate a total conviction about the need to change processes and then watch the end to end measures and outcomes, rather than relying on measures of individuals within a process. It’s all about transparency – get the lights on was his call to action!"

Parry also won praise for his work in developing metrics to measure adaptability. Following his presentation at Lean Kanban Central Europe conference, Parry was approached to write series of articles for the international InfoQ news site.
