BIMobject announces major product upgrades to accelerate digitalisation of the construction industry
The company will present a smarter search engine, next-generation analytics and multiple other important upgrades to its BIMobject® Cloud service at BIMobject LIVE 2020, the digitalisation event for the European construction industry.
According to the World Green Building Council, buildings and construction account for 39% of worldwide CO2 emissions1. While the highest growth is happening in developing countries, there is an urgent need for digitalisation to enable building affordable, high quality and energy-efficient buildings everywhere.
“With over 1.8 million registered users and more than 1,600 connected manufacturers, BIMobject.com is already the world’s largest library for architects, engineers and construction companies that have adopted Building Information Modeling (BIM)”, says Carl Silbersky, CEO BIMobject AB. “Still, our mission remains to connect the entire building industry. Now we are making it even easier for more end users and manufacturers to adopt BIM”.
The product updates presented at BIMobject LIVE 2020 include e.g.:
- A smarter search engine at www.bimobject.com, making it easier and faster for users to find the right objects for their project.
- The next generation of BIManalytics®, BIMobject’s analytics platform for building product manufacturers, providing detailed insights on global demand for their products.
- Multiple updates to BIMobject® Cloud, making publishing new product catalogs faster and more intuitive, to enable more manufacturers to join the platform.
BIMobject LIVE 2020 takes place at Malmo Live on March 2 - 3, and will also be streamed through BIMobject’s official YouTube channel and Twitter account.
