Bittium Expands Its Range of Supported ECG Analysis Software by Collaborating With a Service Partner

Bittium expands its ECG analysis software offering to an artificial intelligence-based cardiac diagnostic software provided by a new service partner, the Polish Medicalgorithmics S.A. This cooperation enables Bittium to offer its customers an even more comprehensive solution for diagnosing arrhythmias. Cooperation with well-known players in the field is part of Bittium's strategy which was updated at the end of 2023. Following the new strategy, the company focuses on the development of its existing products and continuous improvement of quality, for example, by utilizing partnerships with other companies. The agreement gives Bittium the right to resell Medicalgorithmics' ECG analysis software globally.

Medicalgorithmics is an international company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and its cloud-based software utilizing proprietary AI algorithms, is designed for the analysis and reporting of ECG arrhythmia diagnostics. The software will be seamlessly integrated with Bittium's Faros ECG measuring devices. The system has already been successfully commercialized in 22 countries, and existing regulatory approvals allow its introduction in over 50 markets.

"The healthcare technology market is evolving, and the importance of remote monitoring and remote diagnostics in patient care is constantly growing. More and more efforts are being made to prevent diseases and health problems with the help of early diagnostics, and the aim is to send patients home at an even earlier stage to reduce hospital and treatment days,” Kauppinen continues.
