PEAKY BLINDERS FILMED AT BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM
BBC epic gangster drama Peaky Blinders made a visit to theBlack CountryLivingMuseumthis week to shoot scenes for the upcoming second instalment of the popular 1920s set Birmingham series.The majority of the filming took place within the Museum’s Canal Arm, taking on a Post WWI transformation into regular character Charlie Strong’s Small Heath based Scrap Metal Yard. Production staff were on hand for three days prior to filming to alter the usual layout with unique props and special effects including the complex movement of the Museum’s designated boat collection.
